Democrat Boren Says Obama's Too Liberal, Unpopular
Rep. Dan Boren, D-Okla., became the first congressional Democrat on record to declare President Barack Obama a political liability, according to Politico.
One of the most conservative members of the Democratic Party, Boren gave what Politico described as a “scorching interview” with the Oklahoma Gazette this week -- saying the president isn't only "very unpopular" in his district but should be more centrist.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., blasted the Democratic National Committee Thursday for wasting money on television ads designed to pressure centrist Democrats to support President Barack Obama’s healthcare reform.
On Wednesday, the DNC's "Organizing for America" committee — President Barack Obama’s campaign-in-waiting — announced that it would begin running ads against lawmakers Byron Dorgan of North Dakota, who has expressed concern about the cost of the legislation.
